Seasonal Gardening Information for November

• This is the ideal time for planting roses, you will have a clear view of where to put them and they don't like to be disturbed when they are at their height.

• Remember the nuts, seeds and fat balls for the birds.  It can also be a difficult time for the birds to find water.

• Tender plants can struggle through the winter months, move any you can to the greenhouse or to a sheltered position.  If this is not possible it's worth wrapping pots and plants in situ.

• Continue to clear the fallen leaves from the ground.

• Clear out, clean and store any pots you have finished with, this will prevent them cracking from the frost.
