Spring tidy in a Maidstone Garden
The new owners of this Victorian garden in Maidstone needed help to see whether there was anything worth saving among the overgrowth.
It didn't look very promising.
The grass had missed its last cut of the the year and flopped over.
Weeds had invaded and died and the bindweed had grown in and amongst everything.
We strimmed and mowed the unruly grass, redefined the borders and liberated a good number of shrubs from their weedy invasion.
The back wall was cleared of ivy and the bindweed was removed as much as possible.
The result started to look like a garden again and will give the owners a canvas on which to build.
There is even a hint of some stripes in the lawn!
