• Summer is fast approaching, as the bulbs die down herbaceous borders come into their own.  Keep an eye on the weather and protect your tender plants from the late frosts.

• Don't forget those weeds, keep the hoe to hand and keep them under control.

• Before clipping and pruning hedges check for any nesting birds.

• Remember your lawn may need more of a regular mow now.
