Seasonal Gardening Information for August

• Prune Wisteria cutting away the whippy growth back to around 5 or 6 shoots.

• Keep dead-heading.

• Clean the paths of moss and algae, this will help prevent the paths becoming slippery in the wetter seasons.

• Cut back fruited canes on raspberries.

• Don't water the grass unless absolutely necessary, brown grass is not uncommon at this time of year and the grass will come back when the weather cools down.
